Sports Photography – San Francisco Giants vs Los Angeles Dodgers
My wife and I usually attend a few Giants games per year together. We love our Giants and enjoy partaking in a few games together to cheer on our Giants. This time, I came to a game by myself. I had been wanting to bring my camera to a game for a long time. I never take my camera when I am with my wife because I don’t want to be staring through my lens all day instead of spending time with her.
Because I didn’t have time to rent a long telephoto lens, I ordered as close of a seat as I could justify. There really is nothing better than Field Club level seats. With my 70-200mm and my Canon 5D Mark III, I set out to get a couple of good shots of the Giants doing what they do best, which is #BeatLA! I brought my iPad so that I could load, edit and post a few photos shortly after I took them.
I sure hope for a change to take photos again at a Giants game. I had more fun doing that.
Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the last Giants vs Dodgers game of the regular season. I am most excited about the shot I captured of Buster Posey knocking out his 20th home run of the season.
